It’s official: the date of the national election is Saturday 26th March 2022.

This was announced by Prime Minister Robert Abela during a political event in Floriana this morning.

“The time has come to turn to you as Prime Minister, and seek your trust for my first mandate,” he said.

The slogan for the Labour Party campaign was revealed: Malta Flimkien (Together for Malta).

It has become apparent that the PL has prepared for another positive campaign, with a forward-looking narrative of hope and unity.
