David Casa goes holy

One wonders how this unprecedented level of hatred sits with the 'ilkoll aħwa Maltin' mantra.

Who would have predicted this? David Casa is going ‘holy’. If it didn’t come out of his own mouth on live television, one wouldn’t even believe it.

David has become a persona within local politics known for ultra conservative positions, not out of belief or way of life but for keeping up appearances. Now he’s taking it a step further as he escalates his hatred rhetoric to a self-declared holy war. A holy war against Labour.

Holy wars are hopefully a thing of the past and they are without fail associated with deep divides between peoples that lead to extreme hatred and suffering. One wonders how this unprecedented level of hatred sits with the ‘ilkoll aħwa Maltin’ mantra.

David, wouldn’t it be better if, instead of waging holy wars, you start searching for your holy grail?

Let’s encourage younger generations to embrace a spirit of collaboration and build a stronger, inclusive Malta together.
