“On climate change we decided to act together. Once we chose to act together, I’m very positive that we will succeed even in this great challenge we have before us.”
These were the Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela’s comments as he was participating in the EUMED Summit in Athens, Greece.
The Prime Minister said that climate change is the biggest challenge we face today, even greater than the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the pandemic, Prime Minister Abela said that the focus will keep on shifting to the economic recovery whilst also keeping an eye on the health aspect.
