In this week’s CNG Trekventures episode, we feature a historical site which is in urgent need of restoration. The San Salvatore Gate in Kalkara was built in the 18th century by the Knights.
Conrad provides rare footage of the San Salvatore Chapel which was built inside the Gate. The chapel was directly hit during the Second World War, and parts of the ceiling collapsed, never to be repaired.
This chapel is in urgent need of repair and restoration, to salvage the original frescos on the walls and ceiling.
This week’s episode also features a continuation of CNG’s clean-up campaign #tlietatlietanaslu.
