Health is the foundation of quality of life, and a strong healthcare system must be accessible, forward-looking, and centred around people’s needs.

This is what the Labour Party is delivering: comprehensive investment in prevention, innovation, and patient care.

A major priority is strengthening prevention. Screening programmes will be expanded and introduced earlier, with wider testing for cancer and other conditions. A new National Screening Centre will bring services together, improving efficiency and access.

Mental health care will be given a new focus, with free mental health check-ups, expanded services in educational institutions, and strengthened community support, ensuring that wellbeing is treated with the same importance as physical health.

Investment in infrastructure and services will also continue. From expanding hospitals and increasing capacity, to introducing advanced equipment and broadening access to treatments such as IVF and specialised care, Labour is ensuring that patients receive timely and high-quality services.

Support will also extend beyond treatment. Whether through free gym access for more people, improved primary care, or expanded services for the elderly, this approach focuses on prevention, independence, and dignity.

Together, these measures build a healthcare system that is modern, inclusive, and resilient.

With these measures, Labour is delivering better health services for all.
