Meet Malta’s new Cabinet

Prime Minister Robert Abela has shaken up his Cabinet with a significant reshuffle. Here's the new lineup.

Ministers

Chris Fearne – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Funds, Social Dialogue and Consumer Protection – Following the June MEP elections, Fearne will be Malta’s nominee for European Commissioner. He will continue his ministerial duties in Malta until officially assuming his new position in Brussels.

Owen Bonnici – Minister for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government

Ian Borg – Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade

Michael Falzon – Minister for Social Policy and Children’s Rights

Anton Refalo – Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights
