A certificate-awarding ceremony was held for participants who successfully completed programmes offered by the SkillUp section within Aġenzija Sapport, an initiative launched in October 2025 with the aim of reaching a wider number of persons with disabilities and equipping them with essential skills for both employment and more independent living.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister for Inclusion and Volunteering, Julia Farrugia.

During the event, certificates were presented to two groups of participants who completed the Way to Work and Skills4Life programmes.

The Way to Work programme provided training to four persons with disabilities, who attended sessions between July 2025 and January this year. The training covered various topics, including the use of public transport, money management, and time management.

The programme also featured informational sessions delivered by several entities, including BeBrave, Be Smart Online (FSWS), and Kellimni. Participants also visited workplaces across different industries, including Benna, Seifert, Swan Laundry, Sherries, and Eeetwell. Additionally, they had the opportunity to engage in voluntary work with Soup Kitchen, RMJ Horse Rescue, and Noah’s Ark.
