Minister for the Economy Silvio Schembri is currently in Chicago where he announced on Facebook that a leading firm will set up shop in Malta.

He described this deal as a significant one.

Although the economy is doing well, we will not rest on our laurels, he said, and we will continue to attract FDI to our islands.
He said that more details on this FDI will be shared over the coming weeks.
