Peter Agius will go down in history as the least worth mentioning Maltese MEP. Yes, you are right, it is contradictory to say this whilst plastering him on our page holding two bags of crisps. But we won’t be speaking much about him. It’s about his leader, Alex Borg, to be specific.

Borg, when pressed to explain how he intends to finance some of his main proposals, first he said that Adrian Delia already confirmed that they are doable, and then he tried to give weight to his statements by disclosing that MEP Peter Agius already prepared a report on EU funding.

It doesn’t seem anyone even bothered asking Alex Borg to share the Peter Agius Funding Report, nothing surprising there.

However, the MEP himself shared his wisdom on social media and in a derogatory tone, whilst holding two packets of crisps in his hands, remarked that Robert Abela was happy to secure 2.1 billion euro for Malta, whereas the EU Commission has a much larger package at 2.1 trillion.

The PN continues to confirm that it has not conducted any serious studies on its proposals and its strategy is that if you can’t convince them, confuse them.

As Malta heads to the polls, voters are being faced with two very different options, stability or confusion.
