Where Tomorrow Takes Root: Registration Now Open for Malta AgriFair 2026

The countdown to Malta’s premier showcase of agriculture, fisheries, and food systems has officially begun. The Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Animal Rights has announced that exhibitor registration is now open for the third edition of the Malta AgriFair, set to take place in April 2026.
Following two successful editions, the fair returns to the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali from Friday, April 17th to Sunday, April 19th.

A Vision for the Future
This year’s theme, “Where Tomorrow Takes Root,” highlights the delicate balance between honoring Maltese traditions and embracing the modern innovations needed for a sustainable future. The 2026 edition isn’t just a trade show; it is a strategic platform focusing on resource-efficient farming and “smart” agriculture, zero-waste systems and organic farming and protecting indigenous breeds and traditional Maltese food production. According to Dr AntonRefalo, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Animal Rights “The Malta AgriFair is not just a display of products; it’s a space where the daily hard work of our farmers, herders, and fishermen receives the recognition it deserves.”
Whether you are a professional in the industry or a family looking for a weekend outing, the AgriFair offers something for everyone. The event is designed to be highly interactive, featuring practical learning experiences for students and young people; a meeting point for policymakers, innovators, and businesses and an opportunity to experience the best of Maltese flavors and craftsmanship.

Parliamentary Secretary Alicia Bugeja Said encouraged all interested parties to step forward: “The AgriFair has become a staple in the Maltese calendar. I urge all exhibitors who wish to participate to come forward and showcase their products.”
