BCA, OHSA suspend works until further investigations

A worker was injured while he was working at a residence in Zurrieq.

The Building and Construction Authority, together with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, are assisting in Triq il-Qrendi, Żurrieq. Civil Protection officers were on site as soon as they received the report and started to conduct the rescue operation.

The authorities are taking the necessary action in relation to this case, including the immediate suspension of works until the required investigations are carried out.
