The Electoral Commission of the Labour Party has announced that it will be accepting nominations for various roles. The positions up for grabs comprise Deputy Leader for Parliamentary Affairs, Deputy Leader for Party Affairs, President, Vice-President, International Secretary, Organising Secretary, and 12 ordinary members of the National Executive.

Nomination forms can be obtained from the PL’s Secretariat Office during specific hours on Wednesday, 21^st August between 9am and 7pm, Thursday 22^nd August between 9am and 7pm, and Friday 23^rd August between 9am and 5pm.

Applications will be accepted on Friday, 23^rd August between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, Saturday 24^th August between 9am and 11am, and Sunday 25^th August between 9am and 11am. No applications will be considered before 5.30pm on Friday 23^rd August or after 11am on Sunday 25^th August.

Any regular member in good standing is eligible to apply for any position, except for the Deputy Leader for Parliamentay Affairs role, which is restricted to Members of Parliament. To be considered valid, each application must be supported by a proponent and a secondant who are both regular paying members and delegates of the 2024 General Conference.
